This time, reviews skew high, with praise for the game’s tight combat mechanics, great action sequences, and unforgettable style resulting in the high scores. Some critics pan this beat-em-up narrative despite the gameplay feeling fun and fresh. For those interested in a rewarding story for Bayonetta, this may not be the sequel you were waiting for.

If you’re looking for an addictive, witty, and well-made beat-em-up, Bayonetta 3 is an excellent purchase for the Nintendo Switch and continues the hot streak this Umbra Witch has as a Nintendo-exclusive character. Press SPACE to Jump’s Sam Greszes loved his time with this flawed but fun title, giving it a 9/10. You can see his Bayonetta 3 review here.

Bayonetta 3 is available for $59.99 on Nintendo Switch, both digitally and physically.
