What sets Octopath Traveler 2 apart from the original release is an improvement upon almost every aspect of what made the original great. This title has more to explore, better combat mechanics, and an improved narrative structure. Octopath Traveler 2 may not take too many risks and feel familiar to most, but why fix what isn’t broken? Overall, this is one title JRPG fans won’t want to miss.

With over 70 hours of content in the base game, and another 20-30 for explorers and completionists, there’s an impressive world to get lost in that boasts beautiful 2D HD locales and characters with tense and challenging combat.
