How Good Is It? The Last of Us Part I

The best way to play Part I

The Last of Us is one of Naughty Dog’s most acclaimed titles. While many PlayStation fans had a chance to try this legendary title, others missed out on the hype. Because of this, the first-party Sony developer remade this PS3 title for the PS5, but is The Last of Us Part I worth the lofty price tag, or should you stick to older editions of this title?

The Last of Us Part I is a hit amongst critics, with reviewers on Open Critic giving it an average score of 88. Though this remake treads on familiar territory, it’s the best way to experience the modern masterpiece. 89% of critics would also recommend a purchase. However, user scores are much lower, averaging a 6.0/10 on Metacritic. Lower scores are partly due to the review bombing by disgruntled fans upset about the price point.
