All Death Dynasty Collection Event skin Recolors compared to the originals

Apex Legends has gotten into the bad habit of offering us skin recolors in collection events instead of the Legend Token recolor store. That pattern continues with the Death Dynasty Collection Event in Season 18: Resurrection. If you’re new to the game, you may not recognize some of them, but these skins are all recolors. In this article, we have shown them side-by-side with the originals and detailed the original’s origins.

All Death Dynasty Recolors and their Origins

While all of the Legendary skins are different models than the original default skin, none of them are unique. Every skin in the Death Dynasty Collection Event is a recolor of a formerly released Legendary skin. The skins these skins are recolors of either came from former collection events, battle passes, or launch bundles. No new models were created for this event. Here is the origin of each Death Dynasty recolor.

Epic skins are recolors by default, but we have still shown the skins next to the original to show this fact. That said, the mask on Octane is different, giving him a little bit of extra flare compared to the others. The Caustic skin is from the Prize Tracker.
