Street Fighter Year 1 DLC Fighters

The first year of Street Fighter 6 adds four new playable characters, each dropping between Summer 2023 to Spring 2024, which you can see in greater detail below. Each of the returning characters sports a new design, with one new character joining the roster. The fighters making their way into Street Fighter 6 are:
Rashid

- Height: 5’10
- Weight: 187
- Home Country: Unknown; born in the Middle East
- First Appearance: Street Fighter V
A.K.I.

- Height: Unknown
- Weight: Unknown
- Home Country: China
- First Appearance: Street Fighter 6
Ed

- Height: 5’11¾
- Weight: 190 lbs
- Home Country: Unknown
- First Appearance: Street Fighter V
Akuma

- Height: 5’10
- Weight: 199 lbs
- Home Country: Japan
- First Appearance: Street Fighter II Turbo
While the first year promises four new characters, we’ll likely see even more fighters in 2024 and beyond. Street Fighter V saw 30 additional characters over its life cycle—which expanded its roster from 16 to 46—so we’re just getting started, especially if Capcom is hoping to reach new heights with Street Fighter 6! Hopefully, more new characters and fan favorites will appear, but for now, I’ll settle for my favorite Akuma coming next year.
