All Ranked changes in Apex Legends Season 14: Hunted

Ranked is changing again.

Some Apex Legends players play for fun, others play for glory. If you are playing to be the best, then you are probably familiar with Ranked Leagues, or Ranked for short. Ranked mode has gone through a lot of balance changes over the years, but the biggest set of Ranked changes came in Season 13: Saviors with the Ranked Reloaded update. A lot of players took issue with the new system, in fact so many that Ranked updated again for the second split. For Season 14: Hunted, the mode is changing again, but only slightly.

There are three changes to Ranked for Season 14: Hunted.

  • Entry Cost Increase
    • Entry cost is 5 RP more across all tiers
  • Kill RP change
    • Removed diminishing returns on eliminations
  • Rank Reset Reversion
    • Rank resets restored to the usual six division loss
    • The lesser rank reset was for Season 13: Savior Split 2 only

While these changes aren’t necessarily mode-changing or major, these tweaks will change where players fall throughout the season and on each split. Split one of Ranked Leagues is on the new Reforged Kings Canyon map update. Split two is on Monstrous Storm Point. It’s safe to say that we will be seeing more players actively playing Ranked during split 1 than we will during split 2.
