Apex Legends hasn’t added a new weapon in a while, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t paying weapons any mind. Season 14: Hunted has introduced a plethora of weapon buffs, nerfs, and otherwise changes that will definitely change some players’ go-to guns (or bows). Let’s take a look at all of the weapon changes for Apex Legends Season 14: Hunted.
Weapon changes (Season 14: Hunted)

The most major weapon changes are to the EVA-8 Auto and Bocek Compound Bow, but there are several more changes too. Some that are even a little strange (such as the Wingman taking Sniper ammo).
EVA-8 Auto
- [Buff ↑] Improvements to recoil
- [Change ↔] You can now equip a Standard Stock to the EVA-8
- [Buff ↑] Pellet damage is now 7 from (formerly 6)
- [Nerf ↓] Blast pattern now has one less pellet
- [Buff ↑] Fire rate is now 2.3 (formerly 2.0)
- [Buff ↑] Shotgun Bolts now give a higher fire rate bonus
- White/Common1: 1.1 (no change)
- Blue/Rare: 1.2 (formerly 1.15)
- Purple/Epic: 1.3 (formerly 1.2)
Bocek Compound Bow
- [Change ↔] Left floor loot and entered the Care Package
- [Change ↔] Shatter Caps and Deadeye’s Tempo are now built in
- [Buff ↑] Damage at full draw is now 70 (formerly 60)
- [Buff ↑] Shatter Caps pellet damage is now 12 (formerly 11)
- [Nerf ↓] Players can no longer pick up fired arrows
- [Change ↔] Arrows no longer spawn in floor loot
- [Buff ↑] Tempo draw speed increased is now 0.38 (formerly 0.32)
Rampage LMG
- {Change ↔] Left floor loot and entered the Care Package
- [Buff ↑] Damage is now to 28 (formerly 26)
- [Buff ↑] Spawns with a Thermite Grenade
Volt SMG
- [Change ↔] Left the Care Package and entered floor loot
- [Nerf ↓] Damage is now only 15 (formerly 17)
G7 Scout
- [Change ↔] Left the Care Package and entered floor loot
- [Nerf ↓] Damage is now only 34 (formerly 36)
- [Nerf ↓] Headshot multiplier now only 1.75 (formerly 2.0)
- [Change ↔] Double Tap Trigger Hop-Up no long built in
- [Nerf ↓] Double Tap Hop-Up burst fire delay now 0.4 (formerly 0.375)
C.A.R. SMG
- [Change ↔] Left the Replicator and entered floor loot
- [Change ↔] Does not take a barrel mod
- The C.A.R. is not compatible with the Laser Sight
L-STAR
- [Buff ↑] Increased projectile speed
- [Buff ↑] Shots at base level before overheat is now 24 (formerly 20)
- [Change ↔] Now only flashes bright red when hitting armored targets
RE-45
- [Change ↔] Left floor loot and entered the Replicator
- [Change ↔] Iron sight FOV is now 70, same as the other pistols
- [Buff ↑] Strafe speed is now 5% faster to be the same as other pistols
Devotion LMG
- [Change ↔] Left floor loot and entered the Replicator
Wingman
- [Change ↔] Left the Replicator and entered floor loot
- [Change ↔] Wingman now uses Sniper ammo (formerly Heavy)

Sentinel
- [Change ↔] Deadeye’s Tempo is now built into the Sentinel
Pistols
- [Change ↔] Use Laser Sights instead of Barrel Stabilizers
SMGs
- [Change ↔] Use Laser Sights instead of Barrel Stabilizers
- [Nerf ↓] Base hipfire spread increased
Assault Rifles
- [Nerf ↓] Base hipfire spread increased
Sniper Ammo
- [Buff ↑] Sniper ammo now stacks to 28 (formerly 24)
- [Buff ↑] Sniper ammo boxes now contain 14 rounds (formerly 12)
Arc Star
- [Nerf ↓] Stick damage on armor is now only 10 (formerly 40)
- [Nerf ↓] Aim slow on stick has been removed
- Aim slow on detonation still occurs
- [Buff ↑] Detonation damage is now 75 (formerly 70)
