Fire Emblem Engage: Best Advanced Class for Alcryst

Shoot to Thrill.

Fire Emblem Engage continues the long-running turn-based strategy franchise from Nintendo. With new allies and classes to assume, finding out which to pick can be overwhelming. Here we break down the best options for Alcryst, the second prince of Brodia.

Alcryst starts as a Lord in Fire Emblem Engage. This young leader of Brodia is exceptional with a bow and even gets an exclusive Advanced Class that lets him shine. Tireur d’elite boosts his aptitude with a bow from B rank to S rank and gives him Luna, a move that offers Alcryst a chance to ignore half of his foe’s Def/Res. The more Dex he has, the more likely it is to trigger.

To further boost Alcryst’s effectiveness in battle, you’ll need to outfit him with the correct Emblem. For Alcryst, we recommend using the Lyn Emblem, a master archer that boosts this prince’s already impressive archery.

Each Emblem grants unique user skills as a character’s bond level increases with the ring’s spirit. After level five, players can inherit skills and use them without Lyn’s Emblem equipped. Each of Lyn’s Bond Effects from level one to ten is listed below.

While we saw success with Lyn as our Emblem ally, there is no one right way to fight in Fire Emblem Engage. Once you master and inherit Lyn’s skills, we suggest experimenting with other Emblems to see how Alcryst fairs.
