Fire Emblem Engage lets players create an army to fight the forces of the Fell Dragon, but before you focus on your allies, you have to build the Divine Dragon. Find out what works best for the main character in Engage before you leave the safety of Somniel.
Alear’s Unique Advanced Class: Divine Dragon
Weapon | Proficiency |
---|---|
Sword | A |
Arts | B |
The best class for Alear is their Unique Advanced Class: Divine Dragon. The Divine Dragon class grants access to A Rank Sword and B Rank Arts Proficiency. Players can combat Axe and long-range attack users like Tomes and Bows, thanks to a varied attack pool.

Recommended Emblem: Marth
To make the Divine Dragon even more viable in Fire Emblem Engage, you need to pair them with an Emblem. Thankfully, the first Emblem you encounter best fits the protagonist. Add Marth to Alear to get the most out of this swordsman. Marth focuses on improving sword skills, avoidability, and damage dealt. The more you level up Emblems, the more Bond Effects you’ll have access to, so use your Engage skill to improve Marth’s Bond with Alear.
