Fire Emblem Engage lets players build an army to tackle the forces of the Fell Dragon. With over 30 units to recruit, you’ll need to choose what classes work with each fighter. If Boucheron is in your main squad, you’ll need to upgrade him with an Advanced Class that fits his play style. Find out what works best for Boucheron here!

Boucheron’s Advanced Class: Berserker

Weapon | Proficiency |
---|---|
Axe | S |
The best choice for Boucheron is the Berserker class, which capitalizes on his aptitude with Axes. With an S Rank stat for Axes, Boucheron hits hard, focusing on one skill set. While he doesn’t have the versatility of other classes, Boucheron makes quick work of Lance users and units weak to physical attacks.
Recommended Emblem: Ike

To make Boucheron even stronger, you’ll want to equip an Emblem on this unit. The best option for a Berserker like Boucheron is Ike, the offensive ally focusing on heavy weapons like Axes and Hammers. You’ll have more Defense and Resistance once you level the Bond Effects up with this ring. To get more Bond levels, we suggest using Ike as often as possible. You can see all the bonuses from Bond Effects levels one to ten below.
Level | Bond Effects | Description |
---|---|---|
1 | Defense +1 | Grants Def +1. |
1 | Demolish | Break destructible terrain in a single blow when using Destroy |
1 | Resolve | If the unit’s HP is 75% or less after combat, grant Def/Res +5 as long as HP stays below 75% |
1 | Laguz Friend | The unit takes 50% less damage but sets the unit’s Avo to 0. |
1 | Great Aether | Use to grant Def/Res +5 for one turn. Next turn, attack a 2-space area and heal 30% of the damage dealt. |
1 | Hammer | Hammer of Emblem Ike. Smashes foes. Cannot follow up or strike first if initiating combat. Effective: Armored |
2 | Defense +2 | Grants Def +2 |
3 | Reposition | Use to move an adjacent ally to the opposite side of the unit. |
4 | Axe Power 1 | Grants Atk +2 at the cost of Avo -10 when using an axe. |
5 | Skill Inheritance | The unit can inherit this Emblem’s skills. |
6 | Axe Prof. | Proficiency with axes. Required for promotion to specific classes. |
7 | Axe Power 2 | Grants Atk +4 at the cost of Avo -10 when using an axe. |
8 | Defense +3 | Grants Def +3 |
9 | Sword Prof. | Proficiency with swords. Required for promotion to specific classes. |
10 | Urvan | Heirloom axe wielded by Emblem Ike. Grants Res +3. |
After you get to Bond Rank 5, you can inherit the skills from your Emblem, so make sure to bond with each Emblem until this stage so you can give an Emblem’s skills to this unit.
