The best option for Bunet is the Great Knight, a Cavalry type unit that melds proficiency with swords and axes. Bunet’s Great Knight class sports A Rank Sword and B Rank Proficiency with Axes. He has a well-balanced kit and high mobility, letting him get into fights early. Bunet also has a high defense that allows him to tank plenty of attacks from enemies. Bunet’s even has a unique ability: Allied Defense; this move lets him protect his comrades from damage when they’re adjacent to him.

Recommended Emblem: Lucina

To make Bunet even stronger, you’ll need to pair him with an Emblem that pairs well with his strengths. We suggest using Lucina, a spirit that boosts Sword skills and dexterity while letting Bunet call on allies for aid. Lucina also gives access to Bow proficiency, giving this unit access to ranged attacks. To get the power of Lucina’s Emblem, you’ll need to increase your Bond with her, which means battling while using the Engage mechanic. The more Bunet uses his Emblem ally, the more skills he gains access to. You can see Bond Effect skills one to ten and their effects below.

Once you hit rank five, you can teach Bunet Lucina’s skills using the Skill Inheritance ability. Make sure to use the Emblem until at least Bond level five so you can use these valuable skills, even without Lucina’s Emblem equipped.
