Fire Emblem Engage: Best Advanced Class for Celine

Don't let her looks fool you, this princess packs a punch.

Fire Emblem Engage brings a new cast of characters for players to command. Like previous entries in the franchise, users can upgrade units from Base Classes to Advanced Classes. Finding out which classes work for each character is vital when building an army of your own. Find out what works best for Celine, the Princess of the Firene Kingdom.

Celine begins the game as a Noble, and during the first few encounters, it becomes apparent that she excels in the mystic arts. You’ll want to choose Celene’s unique class to capitalize on these strengths. The Vidame class raises Celine’s Tome proficiency from B Rank to A Rank and gives her a B Rank proficiency with Staffs. As a Vidame, Celene is one of, if not the most well-rounded magic user in Fire Emblem Engage. She can also use swords for close-range options.

To further boost Celene’s effectiveness as a Vidame, you’ll need to outfit her with an Emblem. Each Emblem boosts several stats for its user. Celica is the best choice for Celene’s playstyle, increasing her magical capabilities.

The more users fight with an Emblem Ring equipped, the more they level up. With levels come new skills. You can see all the abilities that come with Celica’s ring below. After level five, units can learn the skills of each ring and equip them even without the Emblem engaged.

Though we found Celene and Celica to be the optimal pairing for Fire Emblem Engage, we encourage trying other ring combinations to gain new abilities and test separate playstyles. With 13 rings in the base game and more coming from DLC, there are hundreds of ways to engage.
