Fire Emblem Engage brings a new cast of characters for players to command. Like previous entries in the franchise, users can upgrade units from Base Classes to Advanced Classes. Finding out which classes work for each character is vital when building an army of your own. Find out what works best for Celine, the Princess of the Firene Kingdom.
Celine’s Unique Advanced Class: Vidame
Celine begins the game as a Noble, and during the first few encounters, it becomes apparent that she excels in the mystic arts. You’ll want to choose Celene’s unique class to capitalize on these strengths. The Vidame class raises Celine’s Tome proficiency from B Rank to A Rank and gives her a B Rank proficiency with Staffs. As a Vidame, Celene is one of, if not the most well-rounded magic user in Fire Emblem Engage. She can also use swords for close-range options.

Recommended Emblem: Celica
To further boost Celene’s effectiveness as a Vidame, you’ll need to outfit her with an Emblem. Each Emblem boosts several stats for its user. Celica is the best choice for Celene’s playstyle, increasing her magical capabilities.
The more users fight with an Emblem Ring equipped, the more they level up. With levels come new skills. You can see all the abilities that come with Celica’s ring below. After level five, units can learn the skills of each ring and equip them even without the Emblem engaged.
|1||Magic +2||Grants Mag +2.|
|1||Holy Stance||If a Corrupted attacks unit, 10% of the damage taken goes back to the foe.|
|1||Echo||Use to attack with magic at 50% damage. Use a second time to launch another 50% attack.|
|1||Warp Ragnarok||Used to warp up to 10 spaces and make a powerful magic attack.|

|2||Magic +3||Holy tome wielded by Emblem Celica.|
|3||Resonance||When equipped with a tome, if the unit’s HP is 2 or more, the unit loses 1 HP at the start of combat and deals +2 damage during battle.|
|4||Tome Precision 1||Grants Hit/Avo +3 when using a tome.|
|5||Skill Inheritance||The unit can inherit this Emblem’s skills.|

|9||Sword Prof.||Proficiency with swords. Required for promotion to certain classes.|
|10||Recover||Staff wielded by Emblem Celica. Recovers a great deal of HP.|
Though we found Celene and Celica to be the optimal pairing for Fire Emblem Engage, we encourage trying other ring combinations to gain new abilities and test separate playstyles. With 13 rings in the base game and more coming from DLC, there are hundreds of ways to engage.
