Fire Emblem Engage lets players form armies to combat hordes of enemies, human and monster alike. To make it through every battle this turn-based strategy game has to offer, you’ll need to make the best units possible. The Prince of Brodia, Diamant, makes an excellent ally, especially when you get him the best Advanced Class option. See how you can make this warrior an offensive powerhouse.
Diamant’s Unique Advanced Class: Successor

Weapon | Proficiency |
---|---|
Sword | S |
Axe | A |
Like many units in Fire Emblem Engage, Diamant has a unique Advanced Class: Successor. As the heir to Brodia’s throne, Diamant gains training in Swords and Axes. With the Successor class, Diamant boasts an S-Rank Sword and an A-Rank Axe Proficiency. With these stats, you’ll have two solid options to use when taking on enemy forces. Diamant excels at striking enemies once he gets close, so help him close the distance and shred enemy forces.

Recommended Emblem: Roy

To make Diamant even more powerful, you’ll need to outfit him with an Emblem ring. The best fit for this combatant is Roy. Like the other Emblems, Roy boosts the base stats of his ally, and because of Diamant’s playstyle, there is no better fit. You’ll see Str and Atk upgrades consistently when increasing the Bond between Diamant and Roy.
The more you fight and defeat enemies with an Emblem Ring equipped, the higher their bond level becomes. Each Bond level introduces new skills that power up an Emblem user. Get to level five, and you’ll be able to inherit the skills from your ring and use them, even when it isn’t equipped.
