Like several other fighters in Fire Emblem Engage, Hortensia has a unique Advanced Class that only she can use. The Sleipnir Rider class gives Hortensia B Rank Tome and S Rank Staff Proficiency, making her a master healer and skilled mage. What’s more, Hortensia gets a pegasus to ride above the terrain, giving her immunity from ground hazards. Thanks to her Big Personality skill, Hortensia can heal allies an extra space away with all Staves.

You’ll want to outfit her with an Emblem to make Hortensia even more effective in battle. As a support-focused unit, Micaiah is the best option for Hortensia. Micaiah offers additional resistance to attacks, improved healing, and access to more powerful healing spells like Great Sacrifice, which fully restores HP to all allies, dropping the user’s HP to one. The higher Hortensia’s Bond with Micaiah, the more Bond Effects the user unlocks. Fight while Engaged to raise your Bond levels and get these skills quickly. Check each of the Bond skills levels one to ten for Micaiah below.
