Fire Emblem Engage: Best Advanced Class for Jade

Become your army's shield.

Fire Emblem Engage lets players create an army of powerful soldiers. While each member starts strong, selecting an Advanced Class boosts their capabilities. Finding the right fit for each unit is crucial, and without a defender, you’re sure to fall fast in a fight. Make Jake your shield in Engage, shutting down any enemy attacks.

Jade starts as an Axe Armor unit in Fire Emblem Engage. This stalwart soldier excels at taking hits for her allies, but choosing the correct Advanced Class increases her strengths exponentially. The General class increases Jade’s axe proficiency from B rank to S rank and bolsters her Str and Def stats. She may not get a new Class skill, but with her near-unbreakable defense, she’ll easily tank through any non-magic attack.

Recommended Emblem: Ike

An Emblem is required to increase Jade’s power on the battlefield further. When sending Jade into battle, we suggest taking the Ike Emblem, which improves her offense and defense.

Every Emblem Ring in Fire Emblem Engage grants users Bond Effects once they level their connection with the ring spirit. After Jade hits level five, she can learn Ike’s skills without having the ring equipped. See the level one to ten bonuses Ike brings when his Emblem is equipped here.

Though we found Ike to be a favorable partner for Jade in battle, we suggest trying other Emblems to gain their abilities and see if their strengths fit your playstyle better. With 13 rings to use, there are plenty of options for each ally in Fire Emblem Engage.
