Fire Emblem Engage: Best Advanced Class for Jean

This lil' guy is a great healer.

Fire Emblem Engage lets players gather a group of fighters from around the globe to fight the Fell Dragon. Each unit in Engage offers unique powers and strengths. While every unit can take on multiple classes, some are better suited for specific roles. If you want to add the tiny soldier Jean to your army (and see the child soldier survive the story), you’ll need to add the suitable Advanced Class.

The best bet for Jean is the High Priest Advanced Class. This option offers access to Tome, Staff, and Art options. Because Jean’s best attribute is his healing ability, amps to Staff and vital skills are crucial. Having Tome and Arts on top of these Staff skills allows for coverage against attackers, so keep a Tome and Arts handy.

Recommended Emblem: Micaiah

To make Jean even better in battle, you should pair him with an Emblem that accents his strengths. The best choice for a healer is Micaiah, an Emblem that improves Staff skills, Resistance, and healing efficiency. The more you use an Emblem and Engage, the higher the Bond Effect. With each rank you unlock, the more skills you unlock. You can see Bond Effect skills levels one to ten below.

Once you get to Bond Rank 5, you can inherit skills from your Emblem, which we recommend on any unit. The more skills your unit has, the better they’ll perform in battle.
