Lapis works best as a Swordmaster in Fire Emblem Engage. Thanks to her prowess with swords, she’s one of the most adept users of this weapon type. You won’t have many options when deploying Lapis, but she’s sure to sweep axe-wielding enemies quickly. What’s more, Lapis’ Share Spoils Skill raises the Hit and Avoidability chance for herself and nearby units by ten points, making her far more likely to strike down opponents. Remember that this skill does lower the Critical rate by ten points in exchange for this boon.

To further improve Lapis’ stats, you’ll need to outfit her with an Emblem ring. The best choice for Lapis is Marth’s Emblem, which focuses on boosting the capabilities of sword users. Using Emblem rings raises the user’s Bond with that spirit. The higher Lapis’ Bond with Marth, the more abilities she can access. Marth grants his user ten levels of Bond Effects to start, each amplifying his partner’s stats and skills. You can see each of Marth’s Bond Effects below.

Once you hit Bond rank five, Lapis can inherit skills and use them even without the ring equipped. Make sure to rank up your Bond with Marth to at least five before you take the ring off and inherit as many skills as possible.
