Fire Emblem Engage lets players compile an army filled with unique soldiers. Each warrior has their own strengths and weaknesses in battle. Picking the best class for each unit is crucial to your success in this strategy game. Find out what Advanced Class lets Louis perform the best in Fire Emblem Engage.
Louis’ Advanced Class: General (Lance)

Weapon | Proficiency |
---|---|
Lance | S |
Because Louis has high Strength, Defense, and skill with the lance, the best fit for him is the General Advanced Class. Generals are excellent defenders, shielding their allies from heavy physical blows. Not only can they take punishment, but this Advanced Class lets its user strike with force. Thanks to an S Rank Proficiency with Lances, Louis hits hard from close or medium range. Position this unit between your team and the enemy army to protect them from harm. Be careful around magic users with Louis, as they’ll make short work of this defensive fighter.

Recommended Emblem: Ike

To make Louis even stronger in battle, you must outfit him with an Emblem. Each Emblem offers unique bonuses and abilities to its user. Because Ike provides a boost to Defense and Attack, he makes an excellent partner for Louis. Ike also grants his user access to his mighty Hammer and Axe for additional options in battle. The more you use Emblems in Engage, the higher your Bond rank grows. Level your Bond with Ike to unlock more Bond Effects for this character.
