Fire Emblem Engage offers over 30 allies you can add to your army, including Veyle, the child of the Fell Dragon. Though this young combatant is small, she’s pretty powerful, especially when you pair her with a suitable class. Find out what class is the best for Veyle before you build her kit.
Veyle Special Class: Fell Child
Weapon | Proficiency |
---|---|
Knife | B |
Tome | S |
Veyle is one of several characters with a Special Class that no other user has. The Fell Child class gives Veyle access to B Rank Knife and S Rank Tome skills. This unit is unrivaled in magic skill, so focus on building things around her Magic stat.

Recommended Emblem: Celica
To make Veyle even more viable, you’ll need an Emblem equipped. The best choice for Veyle is Celica, an Emblem that improves Magic power and Avoidability, two of Veyle’s most essential stats. The more you level up an Emblem with Veyle, the more Bond Effects you’ll get, so use the Emblem as often as you can to rank it up. You can see Bond Effects ranks one to ten below:
Level | Bond Effects | Description |
---|---|---|
1 | Magic +2 | Grants Mag +2. |
1 | Holy Stance | If a Corrupted attacks unit, 10% of the damage taken goes back to the foe. |
1 | Echo | Use to attack with Magic at 50% damage. Use a second time to launch another 50% attack. |
1 | Warp Ragnarok | Used to warp up to 10 spaces and make a powerful magic attack. |
1 | Seraphim | Holy tome wielded by Emblem Celica. Effective: Corrupted |
2 | Magic +3 | Holy tome wielded by Emblem Celica. Effective: Corrupted |
3 | Resonance | When equipped with a tome, if the unit’s HP is 2 or more, the unit loses 1 HP at the start of combat and deals +2 damage during battle. |
4 | Tome Precision 1 | Grants Hit/Avo +3 when using a tome. |
5 | Skill Inheritance | The unit can inherit this Emblem’s skills. |
6 | Magic Prof. | Proficiency with Magic. Required for promotion to specific classes. |
7 | Tome Precision 2 | Grants Hit/Avo +5 when using a tome. |
8 | Favorite Food | When a unit eats a packed lunch, its Engage meter is maxed out. |
9 | Tome Precision 3 | Grants Hit/Avo +7 when using a tome. |
9 | Sword Prof. | Proficiency with swords. Required for promotion to specific classes. |
10 | Recover | Staff wielded by Emblem Celica. Recovers a great deal of HP. |
Once you hit level five, your unit can inherit skills from their Emblem, so use Celica until at least level five before taking it off and giving a ring to another unit.
