Farming Arrows in Tears of the Kingdom

There are a few ways you can get arrows in Tears of the Kingdom. Here are the different ways, including the best method, to stockpiling arrows.

Destroy Crates in the Open World

The easiest way to farm arrows in Tears of the Kingdom is by destroying crates. No matter where you are in the game, it would be best if you took time to destroy crates, barrels, and search chests, as they often contain arrows. It’s rare that these containers don’t have the projectiles lying in wait.

Use a heavy weapon if you have one available to crush multiple crates at once, like a rock-fused weapon. Note that a “weapon” like a regular stick won’t work! After smashing crates, collect your bounty and continue exploring the world at your leisure. While crates are not the only way to collect arrows, it’s a method sure to net you dozens of arrows in no time.

Beat Enemies (Especially Bowmen)

Enemies, especially those with bows, often drop arrows. If you see these enemies, focus on them and collect the items they drop. Remember, you can see how many arrows you have in your inventory without opening the menu by pulling your bowstring back (it appears on the right of your crosshairs).

Purchase Arrows from a Shop

If you have extra rupees to spend, there are plenty of shops in the open world that Link can buy arrows from. Shopkeepers often sell arrows in bundles, and I usually grab a few whenever I’m in town to keep my supply running high.
