Octopath Traveler 2: The best Secondary Class for Partitio

Teach this skillful merchant a few new tricks.

Octopath Traveler 2 offers eight unique characters to find on their adventures. While each of these travelers starts with a Primary Class, they can grab a Secondary Class later in the game. Choosing the suitable Secondary Class for your party can be tricky, so you may want to look into what makes Partitio even better before you settle on a choice.

Partitio’s Secondary Class: Warrior

The optimal Secondary Class for Partitio is the Warrior. This Secondary Class gives its user improved physical attack as well as access to swords and lances. Since Partitio already uses bows and lances, most of his attacks are physical. The Warrior class adds to his attack power in battle. Once you unlock enough Warrior skills, you can get a class skill that raises Partitio’s attack by 50. Getting this move will make this merchant a force on the battlefield.

Before you can equip the Warrior Secondary Class, you must unlock it. To grab the Warrior License, head to Hinoeuma-Sai. After you get to the small desert town, head to the dojo at the back of the map, which we’ve shown below:

Enter the building and talk to the Warrior guild leader to unlock the Warrior Secondary Class. At first, only one character can use each Secondary Class at a time, but players can get up to three licenses after completing specific missions for the guild leader.
