In Octopath Traveler 2, players recruit eight unique characters, each with their own classes. While the Primary Classes for these travelers are locked in, Secondary Classes can be customized. Before you choose a Secondary Class for Thronè, the thief, find out which fits her playstyle best.

Thronè’s Secondary Class: Hunter

The best Secondary Class for Thronè is the Hunter, which gives her access to bow and axe weapons while increasing the critical hit rate and speed stats. This class complements her playstyle wonderfully, expanding her kit while allowing her to take on a broader array of enemies.
Where to Find the Hunter License

Before you can equip the Hunter Secondary Class to Throne, you must acquire the Hunter License. The Hunter License resides in Toto’haha-Western Tropu-hopu Traverse. Head to either town on the lower part of the island and make your way to this wild area. Remember that enemies are here, so you may want to equip the Evasive Maneuvers. We suggest taking Osvald, who can provide this move. This Scholar also has Scrutinize, which can reveal foes’ weaknesses if a fight occurs.
After you go to the Western Tropu-hop Traverse, head to the left side of the map and look for an open fire (that’ll be easier to spot at night). Speak to the Beastling NPC shown with a checkerboard logo shown below to unlock the Hunter Secondary Class License.

After you unlock this Secondary Class, you can earn additional Licenses by completing missions for the guild master, so talk to her again for info on these tasks.
