The Flying Pikmin’s Pink Onion lies in the Primordial Thicket, which is the final main area in game. You need to amass 13,000 Sparklium to unlock it. You can get Sparklium by collecting Treasures in Pikmin 4.

Once you’ve unlocked the Primordial Thicket, you must head to the southwest portion of the map pictured above. Make sure you gather the following before you make your way down:

  • Oatchi
  • 10 White Pikmin

After you reach the area, look for a purple Leafling standing on the hill, you’ll want to hop up to the ledge nearby him with Oatchi. You can’t climb the final hump but can throw White Pikmin up on the ridge towards two smoking poison plumes. Toss 10 White Pikmin on the ledge and let them work their way through the poison plumes and to the cardboard box. Wait for them to push the box down and make you a new path up.
