Pokemon Scarlet and Violet sends off 2023 with several of Gen IV’s Legendary Pokemon and a special event! If you want to add Dialga, Palkia, and Darkrai to your team, make sure you take part in the event and grab several powerful allies.

Darkrai Code for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
To unlock Darkrai in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you have to enter the following Mystery Gift Code:
- NEWM00N1SCOMING
To redeem the Mystery Gift code, follow the steps below:
- Open the Main Menu once in the game (by pressing X)
- Go to the Pokè Portal
- Select ‘Mystery Gift‘
- Choose ‘Get with Code/Password‘
- Type in NEWM00N1SCOMING
Darkrai is only available for a limited time (Thursday, December 7, 2023 – Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 3:59 PM PST). Once this window ends, players won’t be able to get Darkrai with the code. Your only option after this point is through trading.
Getting Dialga and Palkia in Scarlet and Violet
Players can unlock Dialga and Palkia in Scarlet and Violet (with Dragon Tera Typing) by beating them in 5-star Tera Raid Battles. These Tera Raid battles are available From Thursday, December 7, 2023, to Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 3:59 PM PST. Once the event period ends, these Pokemon won’t be available unless you’re trading, so get them while you can!
