Flamigo’s best stats are its Attack and Speed, so you’ll want a nature that hones in on one of those stats. Those who wish to bolster the Attack stat should set their sights on the Adamant nature. This nature lowers the Specials Attack stat for this boon, but you won’t need that stat when you’re using this fighter.

Your other option is the Jolly nature, focusing on the Speed stat instead. You’ll also see a Special Attack decrease, but don’t worry about it. We suggest choosing Jolly nature for your Flamigo. Because the Attack stat is higher than its Speed, you should invest points in the nature that helps this Pokemon strike first.

Though some natures can help you build the best battle buddy, some give the opposite effect. If you find your Flamigo with either of the following natures below, we suggest looking for another partner or changing its nature via mints. Players can purchase mints at the Chansey Supply store in Montenevera for $20,000.

Quiet+Special Attack/-Speed

Because the Special Attack stat is so poor for Flamigo, it’s the last option you’d want when picking your partner. Any nature that focuses on boons to Special Attack is more than a poor choice. It’s a worst-case scenario.

The Modest nature increases Special Attack while taking points away from the Attack stat. Flamigo won’t see any improvements if it sports this nature. Quiet nature is another lackluster choice, as it lowers the Speed stat but offers the same Special Attack focus, causing more harm than good.
