Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: Best Natures for Flareon

Burn a path forward with an incredible Flareon.

With the Pokemon franchise returning for Gen IX, there’s a whole new region to explore. New faces fill the Paldea region, but familiar friends like Eevee and its evolution, Flareon, return. If you want to add this Fire Pokemon to your ranks, look into the best natures for your new partner before you begin.

As a physical attacker, the Attack stat is a must for Flareon. You’ll want a nature that boosts Attack, and your best options are either Adamant or Naughty. The Adamant nature lowers Special Attack in return for improved Attack. The Naughty nature, on the other hand, lowers Special Defense. Which one you picks depends entirely on your preference.

Worst Natures for Flareon

While only some trainers seek out the bets natures, all users should take care to avoid the worst options for their partner Pokemon. Take note of the following natures when you’re searching for an Eevee or Flareon to join your team. If your Eevee exhibits one of the worst, it’s best to either save it for another evolution or put it in a PC box. One with either of these natures would work great as a Vaporeon.

NatureEffects
Modest+Special Attack/-Attack
Calm+Special Defense/-Attack

Because Flareon works best when using the Attack stat, we suggest avoiding Modest, as it heightens Special Attack at the cost of Attack power. Another poor choice is the Calm nature, which prioritizes the Special Defense stat, hurting Attack in the process. Even though Flareon has a decent Special Defense and Special Attack, they aren’t worth giving up that precious Attack.
