Becoming the best trainer in the Paldea region is no easy task, and you’ll need to gather a team of powerful Pokemon to get the job done. While you can use any Pokemon you come across in the wild, bringing a powerful partner can make the journey easier. Finding the best natures for each partner is a great way to stand above your opponents, and that’s the case with Gallade. Find out what characters work well for the Blade Pokemon below.
Best Natures for Gallade

Nature | Effect |
---|---|
Jolly | +Speed/-Special Attack |
Adamant | +Attack/-Special Attack |
As a physical attacker, Gallade’s Attack and Speed stats are the most important. Gallade already has a staggering attack stat, so we recommend using the Jolly nature to improve its Speed in exchange for Special Attack. As a physical fighter, Special Attack isn’t helpful for this Pokemon. If you’d rather boost Gallade’s power, picking the Adamant nature will further improve his Attack abilities, trading Special Attack power for this boost.

Worst Natures for Gallade

While getting the best natures for Gallade makes it an impressive ally, finding one takes time. If you don’t want to grind for one of the best natures, we recommend avoiding the following.
Nature | Effects |
---|---|
Quiet | +Special Attack/-Speed |
Modest | +Special Attack/-Attack |
Gallade needs both Speed and Attack to fight at its best, which means both Quiet and Modest natures are far from ideal. The Quiet nature lowers Speed while upping the Special Attack stat. Because Gallade’s Speed stat is far lower than its Attack, reducing it further will make fighting hard. You’ll rarely go first with the Quiet nature. On the other hand, the Modest nature lowers Gallade’s Attack stat in exchange for Special Attack. You’ll want to avoid any natures that lower these stats, but these two offer the worst combinations.
