Get this ghastly companion ready for battle.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet continue to expand the roster of Pokemon for players to collect. Those who preorder the upcoming DLC and transfer from Pokemon HOME can get Hisuian Zoroark for their team. Once you have it, you will want to ensure you have the best nature. See what works best for this Ghost/Normal hybrid.

Timid+Speed/-Attack
Modest+Special Attack/-Attack

With Hisuian Zoroark, you’ll want to focus on a nature that improves either the Speed or Special Attack. Modest will amp Special Attack in exchange for Attack, while Timid improves Speed. Each of these stats is vital for Hisuian Zoroark to perform in battle. Because the Special Attack stat is high for Zoroark, we suggest you use the Timid nature and ensure your ally strikes first. Hisuian Zoroark has low Defense stats, so it may not survive an attack if it goes second.

If you don’t want to roll for the best option, you should watch for the worst. While Timid and Modest are good fits for Hisuian Zoroark, others are less than ideal. Make sure you don’t get a partner with the natures below, as they are the worst choices for this fighter.

Adamant+Attack/-Special Attack
Brave+Attack/-Speed

Because this Pokemon needs the Special Attack and Speed stats more than any other, any nature that lowers these stats is not a good choice. Though Adamant and Brave boost the Attack stat, the tradeoff is not worth it.
