Street Fighter 6, like many other online titles, offers crossplay for its community. No matter your platform, you can play a friend on any system. Before you can play with other users, though, you’ll have to set up crossplay functionality. Here’s how to get started with Street Fighter 6 crossplay.

Setting Up Crossplay for Street Fighter 6
Create a Capcom ID Account
To use crossplay in Street Fighter 6, you must create and link a Capcom ID to your preferred platform and account. Follow the steps below to do so. If you already have an account, skip ahead to the next section.
- Go to the Capcom ID website
- Select Sign Up
- Fill out the age and location fields
- Verify email (within 24 hours)
- Go to the user information entry screen
- Enter your preferred username, follow the steps provided
- Agree to the contents of the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
Link Your External Accounts
Once you have a Capcom account, it’s time to link to your console-specific account(s). Scroll down to the External account links section of the Capcom ID page.
- Click the Link button to choose an external account to link to your Capcom ID.
- PlayStation users: Complete the Sony account login on the upcoming page to link your account.
- Xbox users: Complete the Microsoft account login to link your account. Select Yes on the following menu.
- Steam users: Sign in using your Steam account on the following menu.
- Confirm the account link. You should receive an email signifying each device’s account linking process is complete. Double-check to see if you got a confirmation email.
After you finish the laundry list of tasks above, you can play online with anyone in Street Fighter 6, no matter their platform.
If you link the wrong account by mistake, don’t worry. Players can unlink their accounts anytime by visiting the Capcom ID account page and selecting Unlink from the External account links menu.
