We are less than a month away from the next Apex Legends season, and teasers are beginning to go live. The most important thing we know about Season 14: Hunted so far, is that it will give players a new Legend called Vantage. Vantage will be the player character number 22 on the Apex Legends roster. She was leaked as an upcoming Legend earlier on, but her Stories from the Outlands animated short brought Vantage’s official debut into canon on July 25.
Vantage Concept Art Leak
Rumors of Vantage circulated for awhile due to an early concept art of her, alongside an unfinished game model, leaked awhile back. Her character looks different than the unfinished model, which makes sense, but looks true to the original concept art. Vantage leaked alongside Newcastle and several further out, less-finished Legends during a massive Apex Legends leak in Season 12: Defiance.

Survive – Stories from the Outlands
Information about Vantage leaked again when the announcement of Survive went live early in-game, but the short is out now. The short shows Xiomara Contreras, aka Vantage, on a snowy planet. Mara has never left home, but is curious about what lies beyond what she knows. Her mother is extremely against this, but has some secrets of her own.

Gameplay wise, Vantage is a Recon Legend. She will debut in Apex Legends on August 9 alongside the release of Apex Legends Season 14: Hunted.
