With Pokemon Scarlet and Violet launching for the Nintendo Switch, GameFreak has a few rewards for series veterans. You’ll get a unique bonus depending on what Pokemon Switch games you’ve played. Find out which returner rewards are coming your way in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Each of the Rotom Phone Cases
The rewards for those who played the previous Nintendo Switch games are Rotom Phone Cases! To see each of the game’s options in greater detail, check the list below:
Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee
Those who played 2018’s Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu or Let’s Go Eevee games will get a green Rotom Phone Case showcasing the starters from these Gen I remakes. Pikachu even shoots off a few thunderbolts in its pose!
Pokemon Sword and Shield
If you played Pokemon Sword or Shield, you’ll get the Ball Guy Rotom Phone Case. The standout NPC from Gen VIII took over Pokemon memes for a few months after release, and now you can immortalize him with a phone case that bears his visage on the back.
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
If you have a save file for 2021’s Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, you’ll get a retro, inspired Rotom Phone Case with a pixel Pikachu decorating the back. It may not be the most complex case in the collection, but it is nostalgic.
Pokemon Legends Arceus
Earlier this year, Pokemon Legends Arceus introduced a phone for players to use: the Arc Phone. While you can’t take the Arc Phone with you to Scarlet and Violet, you can remember it with this Rotom Phone Case that mimics the shape and design of your last mobile device.
Where to Get the Pokemon Phone Cases
Once you get about two hours into the Scarlet and Violet story, you can talk to an NPC in front of the stairs leading to Mesagoza’s Central Plaza. The woman shown above gives players up to four rewards. Players can change their Rotom Phone Case at any time from the menu in Scarlet and Violet.
