Street Fighter 6‘s Fighter Pass is coming to a close with the most anticipated addition to year one: Akuma. The popular antagonist from Street Fighter is back as the fourth DLC character, and his release is set for May 22, 2024.

As part the EVO 2024 festivities, Capcom dropped a new trailer on their Twitter page showcasing a look at Akuma, along with info on his release date. Akuma is the 22nd official character in the Street Fighter 6 roster.
The rage fueled fighter is less than a month away from hitting the ring in Street Fighter 6. Akuma will also make his debut in the World Tour mode for players to study under and acquire moves from.

With the final character of Street Fighter 6’s year one Fighter Pass revealed, it won’t be long until Capcom shares the plans for the 2024-2025 DLC character schedule. We expect to see more info on upcoming characters before the summer’s end, but only time will tell.
Akuma also got a new page on the official Street Fighter 6 website. The new page shares screenshots, character bio information, and voice actor information for the “Demon of Combat”.
