Fox unveils Aliens Dark Descent at Summer Game Fest

Can we dream? I think we can.

With E3 canceled in 2022, Summer Game Fest is now the premier event to announce new titles and updates on anticipated releases. While the show promised to focus on previously announced titles, some surprise reveals made their way into the show.

To summarize, Geoff Keighley shared the first details on their upcoming title, Aliens Dark Descent. In addition to announcing the new Alien game, players got a special CGI trailer outlining the horror elements. Aliens Dark Descent is an isometric title that pits marines against extra-terrestrial enemies. Furthermore, players won’t have to wait too long to experience this title.

Alien Dark Descent is the first one of many surprise announcements at the 2022 Summer Game Fest showcase. Several other unique titles made an appearance. One standout this year was Street Fighter 6, Capcom’s prolific fighting franchise. In any event, the Summer Game Fest picked up the slack E3 left in its wake.
