Stormgate, the newly announced Real-Time Strategy (RTS) game by new studio Frost Giant Studios, was officially announced at Summer Game Fest 2022. There was an amazing trailer, as well as an announcement to sign up for the Stormgate beta on their website.
The interest and hype after the trailer were so massive, to the point that when potential players tried to access the Stormgate website, the site went down. The Frost Giant team was surprised by the influx in traffic, and even the developer site went down briefly, but that was quickly resolved. Frost Giant talked about the crash on Twitter, and announced that they’ll be giving Stormgate updates in their newsletter.

Frost Giant Studios is a new studio made up mostly of former Blizzard employees. Stormgate is going to be their first title. Much of the team working on this game previously worked on the StarCraft and Warcraft franchises. The Steam page for Stormgate can be found here.
