With a little over a week before Pokemon Scarlet and Violet launch on the Nintendo Switch, marketing is full force at GameFreak. On November 8, 2022, The Official Pokemon YouTube Channel posted another look at this anticipated title.
The new trailer gave a fresh look at the Paldea region while Ed Sheeran’s Celestial song played in the background. Trainers enjoy running through the wilds alone and with friends as they find wild Pokemon. Quaxly joins the trainer in this showcase, waddling alongside its partner.

Though the focus was primarily on the new venues and Pokemon, several familiar faces popped up. One of the most notable inclusions in the latest trailer was Dragapult, the pseudo-legendary from Gen VIII. Rare and powerful Pokemon are sure to appear in limited-time Tera Raid Battles. In Tera Raids, up to four trainers can party up to fight Terastallized creatures. The Pokemon caught in these fights are yours to keep, though taking them down won’t be easy.

Players also got a peek at new rewards for those who played the previous Pokemon titles. Depending on what games they own, trainers get one of four Rotom phone cases to customize their characters. You can see each option and their corresponding games below, but keep in mind that you’ll need to play for about two hours before claiming these bonuses.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are sure to be some of the biggest releases of 2022 despite an incredible catalog this fall. To see the full Newest Chapters Trailer of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, check out the video below!
