The first event for Overwatch 2 is out for all players to enjoy. In honor of Halloween Terror 2022, a new mode, skins, and limited-time rewards join Blizzard’s hero shooter. As part of the event, Blizzard aims to honor Overwatch’s past and present with several offerings, old and new.
Junkenstein’s Revenge returns this year with a new campaign: Wrath of the Bride, where users can fight a haunting new adversary. Enter this four-player horde mode and slay monsters to defend a castle from the undead. While you fight, you’ll find bosses like the Corpse Bride waiting to ambush you.
New skins also appear in the Halloween Terror 2022 event, such as the Witch Kiriko and Executioner Junker Queen. Each of these skins offers a unique look, effects, and exclusive voice lines for players who equip them.
As part of their apology campaign for a rocky launch, Blizzard is giving out the Legendary Cursed Captain Reaper Skin to everyone who plays from October 25 until the end of Overwatch 2 Season 1. Once you log into the game, you’ll see the following skin in your inventory.

Overwatch 2’s Halloween Terror 2022 event runs from October 25 to November 8, with all rewards and skins up for grabs during this period. Once the event ends, you’ll have to wait until next year to grab these spooky outfits and items, but with prices this scary, you may want to avoid the shop entirely.
