Crypt of the NecroDancer has released the Crypt of the NecroDancer: Hatsune Miku Character DLC on both Steam and PlayStation. The DLC will be coming to Nintendo Switch at a later unannounced date, but has been slated as “coming soon”. The DLC is 10% on Steam until April 11, 2024, and is also 10% on PlayStation for all PlayStation Plus members.

The April Fool’s Leek Leak

The DLC was originally teased on April Fool’s Day with a tweet reading “leek what I found”. Players in the comments section hoped that this reference to Hatsune Miku’s iconic leek would actually mean that the vocaloid was coming to the game, and not just an April Fool’s joke. Luckily for them, the only joke here was that the leak (leek) was real!

Crypt of the NecroDancer is pixel-based roguelike rhythm game created by Brace Yourself Games. Hatsune Miku belongs to the Vocaloid vocal synth lineup created by Yamaha.
