MultiVersus is Warner Bros.’s take on the platform fighting genre. While they aren’t the first to enter the ring, they bring plenty to the table. An essential aspect of the game is regular updates and patches to retain balance. Though some issues take time to fix, two characters are getting adjustments today.
On July 29, Tony Huynh, the Game Director for MultiVersus, shared a new hotfix on Twitter. While in Open Beta, users found Iron Giant’s Air Down Special could combo infinitely. If you weren’t on the receiving end of this bug, consider yourself lucky. For those unfamiliar, you can watch the video below by ElChakotay for a first-hand look.
It took some time to work out, but Tony Huynh was happy to share the issues with the Tank are fixed. Batman also saw an improvement in his bugged Grapple. While the hotfix improved his Grapple attack, there are still some kinks to work out in the coming days. Lastly, Steven Universe saw a few adjustments. The support character’s Neutral Air attack has adjusted knockback to apply the intended impact.
