Player First Games Twitter is inactive, Tony Huynh confirms

Don't worry, everyone! Just an unfortunate error.

Few games see support like MultiVersus in 2022. Player First Games is the name behind this game, and now they’re a topic of discussion. After blowing up, fans and leakers followed their main Twitter account for real-time updates.

This changed on August 9, 2022, when the Player First Games Account disappeared from Twitter. Leakers like MultiVersusie immediately asked what happened, sharing an image from the platform claiming the account didn’t exist.

Many asked what could have happened to the social media channel, but the answer is far less complicated than expected. Tony Huynh, game director for MultiVersus, stepped in late August 9 to clear the air with fans. While the account is down on Twitter, it was part of a small mistake. Huynh put the wrong date of birth in when logging into the company account, causing an account lock.

Huynh and the Player First Games team sent a ticket to Twitter but must wait for their request to be processed. Once the case hits Twitter support, Player First Games should see a return to Twitter.

Overall, MultiVersus is an impressive first title for Player First Games, which saw massive support at EVO 2022. The Player First Games site even had a banner celebrating MultiVersus and sharing its freshman title status during beta sign-up windows.
