Stripe the Gremlin is out now for MultiVersus

Time to cause some mayhem in MultiVersus!

Stripe the Gremlin finally joins the MultiVersus roster! After players waited for more than a month, the antithesis to Gizmo the Mogwai is here. Despite weeks of teases, the hype for the villain persists as he debuts in the famous platform fighter.

Stripe joined MultiVersus on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, alongside the 1.04 update. He may be the same size as Gizmo, but he’s far from cuddly. The tiny terror uses a chainsaw, crossbow, and claws to tear apart the competition. Player First Games took to Twitter minutes after Patch 1.04 went live to share the Stripe Gameplay trailer with players.

As part of the Patch Notes for 1.04, Player First Games also shared a high-quality image of the new fighter holding his big chainsaw in battle.

Stripe is the latest addition to the ever-expanding MultiVersus roster. While there is over a month left in Season 1, Player First Games promised at least one more character coming before it ends on November 15. Black Adam will join the roster this month or next. Though we don’t have a release date for the upcoming fighter, Black Adam does appear on the main menu for MultiVersus, giving players a sneak peek of his in-game design.

While players wait for the magical menace, Black Adam, they can enjoy one of 21 different characters across the Bruiser, Mage, Assassin, Tank, and Support classes, with Stripe joining the list of Assassins. Like the other assassins in the roster, Stripe also gets a boost to his attacks in battle.
